Brushing and spraying holding coat for use above the waterline over Rylard zinc phosphate primer to increase corrosion protection and provide interim protection of newly built hulls during storage before final painting and fitting out.

Semi-Gloss holding coat containing zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigments to give additional corrosion protection over Rylard zinc phosphate primer. Semi-Gloss finish aids rain and dirt shed, improving temporary protection features.

Before further decoration it is recommended that weathered holding coat be thoroughly washed and lightly sanded with 280/320 grit wet & dry paper. Any areas showing signs of surface corrosion should be abraded and re-primed with 25773-R2 zinc phosphate primer.
