Hempel Antifouls

Three new antifouls are by BlakesOcean performer, Tiger Xtra and Cruising Performer. They have superseded Titan and Tiger Cruising.

Hempel Brilliant Enamel

All Blakes Marine Glosses are now called Hempel Brilliant Yacht Enamel. Alkyd based high gloss yacht enamel.

There is also their Multicoat range

High opacity satin topcoat and primer for all areas, including decks, bilges & lockers. Ideal for all areas above the waterline where a semi-gloss durable topcoat is required. Also can be used as a complete coating system onto new or bare wood.

Fillers allow you to either fill a minor defect (spot fill) or to build up a surface to the required profile. You are then able to 'fair' back to an even profile

Hempel Thinners/Brushwork/Equipment Cleaner

Blakes No1, No 2, No 3, No5. and No 6 plus Blakes Degreaser Thinners are a liquid used to adjust the viscosity and drying time of a paint. Also for cleaning. Maufacturers maintain 'that it is important that only recommended 'Thinners' are used for each application, since failure to do so will result in a ruined job. Substituing other proprietary products will also result in failure' Blakes Paint Manual. You have been warned!
