Cookies - these are the ones that are used on this site by our SellerDeck (previously known as Actinic) Shopping Cart software:

ACTINIC_CART. The shopping cart. Specifically excluded from the scope of the regulations.

ACTINIC_BUSINESS. The login digest for logged in customers. 
ACTINIC_CONTACT. The 'Remember Me' details.
Provided agreement to the Terms and Conditions is enforced in the checkout (the default setup), consent for both of these is obtained before they are used. 

The following are necessary for the correct functioning of the associated elements of the site.
ACTINI_REFERER. Returns the customer to the last page visited after completion of the checkout.
ACTINIC_RECENT. Records the image filename(s) for the ‘Recently Viewed Products’ list, if enabled.
CART_CONTENT. Stores the cart value and item count for the shopping cart summary.
LAST_SECTION_URL. Used by the ‘Back’ link on the Product Page, to return the visitor to the correct Section Page.

Our policy on information.

We do not sell information about you.

We pass on your information to third parties when it is directly necessary to process your order e.g to courierer's and distributors for the prurpose of delivery and if you seek technical information to put you in touch with paint companies technical departments.

We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons:
firstly, to process your order;
and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail from us via our newsletter opt out and opt in process.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

address
phone number
e-mail address
credit/debit card details - we do not under our system receive or store your credit card details, we can access your card via our Actinic Payments Merchant service who work with Streamline for the purposes of refund and or additions to an order, or with your permission a new order..

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
